Christa Margo Nield, RYT 500

Christa Margo Nield-Spillane found herself without a compass and the inability to breath due to a difficult
personal loss. She started meditation with a TM teacher in Rapid City SD and has been a TM mediator, meeting monthly with her group. Christa started the practice of yoga to regain her breath, later working with a yoga teacher in Hot Springs, her yoga practice grew. She was encouraged to teach by covering classes and teaching at Pine Hills Retirement Center for two years. Christa went to school to received her (200 ryt Hatha Yoga Teacher) certification in December 2014 from The Yoga Studio, Rapid City SD.

Love of the water moved her to be a qualified lifeguard when she was younger. The same love of water had her complete class work to become a Aqua Yoga Teacher, qualified from White Crow Yoga (Aqua Yoga Teacher) Training 2015. In 2016, Christa received her (300 ryt Hatha Yoga Teacher) certificate from BlackHills Yoga Studio, Rapid City SD - which identifies Christa as a (500ryt Hatha Yoga Teacher).
Christa has been conducting nutritional educational in services for the understanding of diets, weight loss, healthy eating, and food safety for over 25 yrs.

She continues to enjoy teaching about good eating, diets and safe food handling as a consultant.
CDM/CFPP (Certified Dietary Manager/Certified Food Protection Professional) retired. She completed her course work in Basic and Clinical Nutrition from the University of North Dakota. Has worked as Director of Dietary of Carbon County, Red Lodge MT, Southern Hill Hospital/Castle Manor Nursing Home and The State Veterans Home, Hot Spring SD.    

Traveling the world started for her as a young girl with her parents and she continues to do so with her husband and daughter today. Lives in Limerick Ireland but enjoys coming back to Hot Springs to visit family and friends each summer. “I love to explore the ruins of civilization and the different cultures and foods of the past and present -there is always something new for me to learn, now that I have found where I need to be and found my breath though yoga.”
